This is Bishnu! He is one of the four teachers that TNT are connected with.
TNT have been able to support Bishnu financially with grants to cover his salary and further study. He was also involved in a training from a group of NZ teachers who visited Garambesi to share ideas and encourage the rural teachers (you can read about that here).
I sat down with him this week and asked him about his teaching role. Here’s what he had to say,
“Many times I’ve thought about to work in the city but I prayed and God said no, I need you in your community – so this is where I stay!” Bishnu is committed to improving the education in Garambesi. He’s a talented and passionate teacher who goes above and beyond for his students. He is so thankful for the support of TNT to be able to continue his study and learn more about how to be the best teacher he can be.
